It's snowing. No, not just snowing. It's snowing horizontally and has been since around 8 this morning. There is what looks like a bulldozer with a plow attachment making constant rounds through the Red Hat parking lot, producing trails of concrete and ice through a field of snow two feet deep.

By the time this exam is over I am seriously concerned about getting my car out of its parking space (the ones I can see from the window are almost buried) let alone making it home in one piece.

Damn you, choose_again and your being-in-California-ness!!!

i asked my mom and she said that it was probably because people were supposed to stop what they were doing and move their cars right away, that if enough cars weren't moved it could be a real emergency, and that employers were supposed to let their employees leave to move their cars so it needed an impressive word.

thanks for the info. this is nerve-wracking. and thanks for keeping brad uptodate about his car.
