btw, for others who are going to the RPI larp weekend, here's my schedule. Also, I'm driving [livejournal.com profile] rigel and (I assume) [livejournal.com profile] contradictacat, which means that I could probably fit another person if someone needs a ride.

Friday:
Nothin', so I'll just be hanging out, gawking at the bizarre Yu Gi Oh larp that is the only thing running in that slot.

Saturday:
Marlowe 2020 -- not sure it's my style, but I keep missing opportunities to play at other cons
Another empty slot -- just hanging out, I guess
Michael Clambino's Fundraiser -- sounds fun and run by ChrisW. Two points in its favor.
Mystery at Hart Manor -- have heard mixed reviews. We shall see.

Sunday:
Child of light -- No idea what to expect here.

Anyone else going? I'm sad that I'm missing the WPI event, but I'll be at the season finale of Threads of Damocles instead.

Not actually going, since I've played in most of the games and tbh, the only ones that look interesting are Marlowe 2020 and Child of Light and two games is not enough reason to go.

I'll be in the Troy area anyway for thanksgiving, so it's probably enough Capital District for me anyway.

It's possible to do a good VERSION of Marlowe 2020 in the same sense that it's possible to run a character-based intrigue tabletop game using Dungeons & Dragons. The unmodified version is ... missable.
