A friend of mine is the IT director for a small company. He got tired of seeing people on facebook and forwarded all requests for that domain to an image on his own server...

He has, in perhaps the most literal sense ever, won the Internet. =:)

Wow, I really don't agree with that opinion or that approach. In fact, that would cause me to leave a company. If I sit and daydream at my desk, should you come in with an airhorn and "get me back on task"?

I actually agree with you completely. One of the things I love about my company is that we're trusted to put in the hours to get the job done and take breaks responsibly when and how we want to.


...that said, I still find it hilarious. =:)

(I should also add that I didn't get the impression that this was a permanent arrangement).
