secondshift here, but since a lot of people have probably assumed the show was dead after our unplanned hiatus, I figured it was worth a mention )
Hi folks!
For those who haven't heard, at long last we have a firm release date of Friday, December 14th for episode 2.06 of Second Shift! This episode has involved a lot of work and endured a lot of holdups due to everything from marriages to out-of-state moves, job changes and all manner of other things. But never fear, we're back and we hope you'll find this episode worth the wait!
Since people have seemed interested in the past, and especially since it's been so long since 2.05 came out, I'd like to continue the tradition of having a "re-listening party" where listeners can get together with the cast and crew on irc and chat while listening to the previous installment of our story before hearing the latest.
What: Re-listening party for episode 2.05, "Knowledge Gained"
When: 8pm US/Eastern time on Thursday, December 13th.
Where: #secondshift on efnet
How: If you know irc it should be easy enough. If not, you can try the following:
1) Go to http://chat.efnet.org
2) Enter whatever you want as a user name
3) Select "Other" on the menu
4) Type in "#secondshift" in the dropdown
