Oooh! Oooh! Oooh!!!
Hot Fuzz, which stars Simon Pegg and Nick Frost and is directed by Edgar Wright (the folks what brought you Shaun of the Dead) and has supporting roles by.. ummm... everyone else in britcom: Olivia Coleman (Green Wing), Bill Bailey (Black Books) and Kevin Eldon (Big Train) to name a few, is going to be playing for one night at the Brattle on 3/25, including a QA session afterward with Pegg and Wright!!
*is dead from fanboyness*
Here's the catch: It's part of the Brattle's Hot Fuzztival, a festival of action movies selected by Edgar Wright ranging from standards like Lethal Weapon and Hard Boiled to more obscure ones like The Super Cops and Dead & Buried (descriptions behind the link). You buy a ticket to one of the other movies and then present it at the box office for a Hot Fuzz pass.
They started giving the passes away yesterday and I'm going to head out this evening in the hope that there are still some left. If anyone else manages to procure one, let me know and we can go together (assuming I'm successful).
Non-Boston people: The Fuzztival is actually a touring thing, so check your area if you're interested. All the reviews I've read so far say it's great!
edit: In fact... Here's a list, and SF is on it.
