The Second Shift pilot is complete!

Episode two, the second and final part of the Second Shift pilot, "Everything to Everyone" has just gone live. For those of you who listened to the first part and were told that the conclusion marks a big improvement in terms of writing and pacing, now you can listen for yourself and let us know if you agree.

I had a chance to listen to the show and I like them their cool, I love the Pierre Home Companion and Radio show (Which is made out where you are I think) like that so this is a great change and something different… Keep it up!!!!

One thing I did notice it the amount of air that the microphone is picking up… If I can suggest it that you use a wood crochet round thing and ladies stockings to cut down on the what ever its called. You know what I’m talking about right… you talk though it so the mic doesn’t pick it up… sorry there is a term for it but I don’t know. OH and I hear that your also in a large room when you record is that right? I have cheap ways to get around that too. :P lol

Serious keep it up, you’re all doing a great job… cant wait to hear the next episode.

Thanks! We had some problems with our recording studio, especially on the second episode. They put us in a tiny room where we were all picking up on each other's mics and with inadequate soundproofing so that you can hear the band practicing in the next room during some scenes. =:(

We've recently switched to another studio and we're working on seeing how effectively we can use a home studio. Making some breath-guards (probably not the right term -- just made it up) is a good idea toward that end.
