Today I learned who Stella Young was, unfortunately via her obituary. The title of her TED talk, "I'm not your inspiration, thank you very much" sounds confrontational, but that's misleading, IMO. It's in fact one of the best-articulated (and funniest) explanations I've seen of the "inspiration porn" (her term) phenomenon from the POV of a disabled person. She sounds like a pretty great person, so consider this share in honor of her memory.
