This looks... fascinating, and potentially really cool. It's an already-existing project, so I'm looking forward to trying it. *nix/CLI folks, what do you think?

This mostly reminds me of the Gary Bernhardt talk about an alternative terminal/text editor/IDE setup (https://www.destroyallsoftware.com/talks/a-whole-new-world).

It seems good for people to think about improving the modes of computer interaction that we somewhat take for granted.
I'm not sure how I'd find the learning curve, and I might worry that it would make going back to standard CLI commands feel awkward, but it could be zippy.

Some of my concerns:

Does it interfere with long sequences of commands piped together?
Does it support UTF-8?
How much re-mapping of key combination commands would it take to avoid collisions with all the combinations I want to send to my window manager, nested screen sessions with different command characters, and emacs run inside a terminal? Often I'm doing things in a terminal because I don't want to use the mouse, so adding mouse interactions isn't a great selling point.
