Night of the tribute bands...

usernamenumberLast night I went to see... nay, EXPERIENCE Tragedy, "the #1 All-Metal Tribute to the Beegees in the Tri-state Area" live. They were everything I wanted them to be, and so many things I want to be, and you should go see them live. That said, I realize that probably even more people on my flist will dig the first band that went on that night, and I want to give them a shout-out.
Unlike Tragedy, LoVeSeXy is a straight-up tribute band-- no novelty angle, performing the music of Prince. To be honest, I've never gotten that into Prince's music myself for some reason, but I can appreciate that It takes a helluva frontman to do justice a Prince song, and their singer is a stone-cold badass on-stage, backed by an equally talented band. I'd gladly see them again, and next time some of y'all should come with!
