Short Version: Camberville, people! The PMRP needs an extra $1k in order to put on our annual Big Broadcast show this year, and we've got an IndieGoGo campaign to help raise the money.
Longer Version: Every year the Post Meridian Radio Players have a "big broadcast" event, wherein we do an episode of that "lost Boston classic", The Frank Cyrano Byfar Coffee Syrup Hour. I've had the pleasure of playing the poet-laureate of Dock Square, Wordsworth Willie, in each of these and am looking forward to doing it again this year. Plus, this year will be something a little different: instead of a Halloween show we're doing, effectively, "A Byfar Christmas Carol" (I think Willie gets to be one of the ghosts-- squee!). But here's the thing: unfortunately our budget for this year has left us just $1000 shy of being able to rent our performance space, the historic Regent theater in Arlington, so we're running an IndieGoGo campaign to make up the difference. If you can throw anything our way, it would be much appreciated. :)
