Every available episode of "Trapped in the Closet". One evening. I...

I have no words; and yet I must find words to speak. It oscillates with dizzying rapidity between being the "The Room" of epic stream of consciousness R&B videos (meditate on this) and... something more. Unlike The Room, it almost... almost has... or perhaps just teases us with... a self-consciousness that wraps it all the way around from "bizarre train wreck" to "masterpiece of a mad genius". It just... I think I'm losing my grip on reality. Time, Space, and Art have all become a blur; newly-defined by the elimination of everything that I thought defined them. One island of solace in the sea upon which I find myself adrift: at least it's ok that I'm up past my bedtime, for I feel as though I've just awoken from a thousand of the strangest dreams...

If I don't survive the metamorphosis, I am so haunting your ass for doing this to me, [livejournal.com profile] lediva...

A haunted ass sounds... terribly unpleasant for both the ghost and the host, honestly.

I was there with [livejournal.com profile] lediva when we saw the intergalactic fifth-dimensional trainwreck that is "Trapped in the Closet". We did not have the words for it (mostly just recording moments in which we were supposed to drink if playing the corresponding drinking game (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/DrinkingGame/TrappedInTheCloset)). Part 3 definitely hit the Evangelion "Screw You, Fans" zone, in not resolving a single plot thread from Parts 1 and 2, and introducing a ton of others so that R. Kelly can keep this thing going as long as the Transformers movies. Also you can feel R. Kelly jettisoning plot lines like the "gay" and "lesbian" relationships after their initial plot shocks were over, and I hereby award him the Golden Molière (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moliere) Award for casting himself as God (in the white suit and as the counselor) coming in in Part 3 and directly influencing the story, seeing as he can't figure out how to move it along any other way.

Also the characters are mostly horrible conservative derogative stereotypes and I'm sure they'll go over very well with the Taliban.

I rate it at the pain threshold of fifteen "Kingdom Hearts 2"s. (The "Kingdom Harts 2" is a measurement of pain based on the splitting headache one gets when trying to understand the story/plot of Kingdom Hearts 2 (https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B8cPyvE2GTjOMzE4MTVlZTctMjE5Yi00YzAzLWJjZTAtZTllODY2OTc2MTMx/edit?hl=en_US), a game written by artists who just wanted a bunch of scenes and emotions with no clue about how to develop them organically.)

Edited to add a link to the Kingdom Hearts 2 plot synopsis.

Wow. I haven't seen this, and I don't think I need to. The South Park episode is awesome, though.

Also, The Room. Oh. My. God. The. Room.
