Of all the themes for my brain to get stuck on...

I've spent weeks wishing for a day when all I have to do is teach: No other projects, no other stresses. Today I'm giving an exam, which involves a lot of downtime, I'm taking a break from stressing about moving stuff and all the other big projects are just on-the-horizon enough for me to pretend that nothing that needs doing.

...and so I find myself immediately, mind-nummingly bored.

Blegh.

And I owe you an advance apology - I will not be at your birthday party, because I still am trying to get my shit together in Colorado, and figure out just in what direction my life is pointing right now. I have no idea what "Bitch, please" means, and so naturally my first instinct is to come up with some of my own, completely oblivious to what it means.

such as:
