PSA: New LJ features

Dunno about others, but I just noticed a couple of new options on LJ's posting form: "Do not add to friends pages and RSS", and "Make sticky post". In other words, no more post-dating or cluttering friends' pages with "This is a mostly flocked journal" posts and the like. More here.

My issue with the "sticky-post" is that you can only have one at a time.

If you create a post with a future date it will treat it as a "scheduled post" and will add it when it reaches the time and date specified.

You can still create post-dated posts, to do that you have to post it in the present (or pre-date it), then go back and edit the date to the future.

It will show up on friends list at the time it is posted (now), but for anyone looking at your page it will sort to the date/time you give it.
