Hey, people what I know who teach or deal with digitizable docs from multiple sources...

A friend of mine mentioned this project in which he's been involved (or maybe it's just people he knows), and it looks pretty cool for people who teach classes where a lot of physical-but-digitizable materials like drawings and whatnot are turned in. Probably also useful for any kind of environment wherein materials of that sort need to be catalogued by group and person. Perhaps worth taking a look:

I think that friend is me, so I'll clarify my involvement. At the DC Startup Weekend event, I pitched an idea for auto-sorting and organizing classroom media captures. Teachers and other participants voted it through and a small team worked through the weekend to refine the concept and build protoypes/models.

After that weekend, one of the team members (Michael) ran with the idea, grabbing a dedicated coder and some more tacher input, and made the current ThreeRing product/startup.

So while I heartily endorse this product and/or service, I'm not involved with the operation or production of ThreeRing in any ongoing or official capacity.
