Found this guy on BoingBoing. He's like a cross between the spraypaint guy in Harvard Square and Bob Ross*... being watched in fast-forward.

I'm not actually sure I'm sold on this idea, but look! Shiny drums!!

Edit ...except Pentatonix just released a new song! They polled their followers on FB for suggestions, and this was the winner. Damn, Kevin... and Avi... and... I mean... just all of you, damn.

They started soliciting suggestions 12 hours ago. This is what these people do for kicks between gigs.

There are those who say the current generation displays less talent than its predecessors. I think I can now say with confidence that I know it's not a net loss, but rather a matter of distribution, to wit: Kevin Olusola has taken all the talents.

...did I mention that he also speaks Chinese and was pre-med at Yale before becoming an a capella rockstar? And that he's 23? I'm just gonna go over here and die quietly now, mmkay?

Why oh why do you post videos that I spend my "I really need to get out the door time" watching? :-P

I love creativity in people! And the Bob Ross on Crack and in miniature was super cool. I was just waiting for him to make comments about how the trees were happy. BTW It looked like it was sped up during his actual painting. Am I the only one who got that impression?

No, I got the same impression, but watch the people behind him. As far as I can tell, he really is just moving that fast!

I watched it again. I see what you mean about the people behind him, but also in a video editing program it would be really easy to cut out his figure and the backgroun. Put them in 2 layers then play the front layer slightly faster than the background layer.

Either way, the fact that he makes these with his fingers is pretty amazing even if I'm not fully sold on his super hero speed painting capabilities :-P
