Had two tickets to go see Women of Will, a two-person show about the women in Shakespeare's plays, in Central Square, but that's the only day
preraphaelite can get movers, so is anyone else interested? We got a good deal, with all service fees and whatnot included we paid $36.50 total for both. I'm really sad to miss this, and would hate to see the tix go to waste.
Here's the show description:
Tina Packer has spent a lifetime studying and savoring Shakespeare's work, founding Shakespeare & Company in 1978 and directing or producing nearly all of his work. Women of Will is her masterwork, a chronological look at Shakespeare's female characters from all points of his career. You certainly do not need to be familiar with the plays to enjoy this highly accessible drama. Together with acting partner Nigel Gore, Packer will portrays the stories and lessons of these characters with comedy and flair. There are two versions of Women of Will: The Overview is a two-hour condensed version of the play, performed at the beginning of the show's run. The production cycle culminates in the monumental five-part Complete Journey.
