BOS ppl: Help give a stranded geek something to do?

A friend from college had plans to wander Boston for a while with a friend this week, but then the friend had a family emergency and had to bail. That person had all the contacts and plans and my friend was mostly tagging along, so now he's in town through 8/1 with nothing to do. I can vouch for him being good people, a mild-mannered geeky type. I'm helping him out with crash space but am way too busy to be much of a host.

If anyone's planning any group outings that can accommodate a friend-of-a-friend, and/or knows about any good stuff that someone with a lot of time to kill might do in the area, wouldja mind letting me know and letting me put him in touch?

zombie_dog is doing a movie night tonight, and was looking for an additional player for a one shot horror/SF tabletop RPG tomorrow.

truthspeaker is doing board games at his place tomorrow.

SGS (MIT's board gaming group) is meeting today at 5pm at their room in Building 50.

collegecate was organizing a trip to Shakespeare in the park friday.

A bunch of people are going to Big QUiz Thing on Monday at the Orpheum.
