Just spent the evening doing dishes, cleaning the living room and organizing my desk while listening to streams of This American Life, Wait Wait, Don't Tell Me! and various BBC comedies from their respective archives. I don't think I've had such a fun, fulfilling evening in years.

Damn, I'm getting old.

Nothing wrong with it. It just makes me feel... old.

And then, when I was done with all of this, what did I do? Did I play video games? Did "rock out" to anything? Did I, by any stretch of the imagination, come anywhere near "getting jiggy" with anything? No. In fact, I turned on a Classical stream and spent the rest of the evening sitting in my big comfy lazy boy reading a history of the Wars of the Roses, which I borrowed from my dad.

Please, just kill me now.

"This American Life" is one of the best show on the radio these days. I'm such an NPR addict it's ridiculous. I listen on average to about 4 hours of NPR daily...

I'm almost (almost) pissed that I don't have a commute anymore because when I don't commute I don't listen to Morning Edition and All things considered and consequently am not as up on current events as when I do. *sigh*.
