If you have moved, changed your name, etc, recently you don't forget to re-register (just fill out the form that link produces, print and mail) before the deadline TOMORROW, 10/13, or you won't be able to vote in November, which is not cool.

Do eet. Do eet now.

Man, I love Wisconsin's at-the-polls-on-election-day registration. :)

I can't vote in anything except a presidential election, I'm afraid. I'll have to figure out how to do that for 2012, I suppose.
I guess I will just get someone in Chicago to vote a couple of extra times for me.

As another expatriate, I'm not sure that what you're saying is true. As far as I know, you should be able to vote in all elections for the last address in the U.S. at which you live. I've lived out of the country since 2007, and before that lived in Inman Square, Cambridge, MA. I just received my absentee ballot for November 2, 2010, which includes the election for MA governor and lietenant governor, attorney general, secretary of state etc etc... including three ballot initiatives. In short, all the same things that residents of Cambridge, Wd. 3, Pct. 2 will be voting on come November 2.

You can register for absentee voting by printing out a form from the internet and mailing it in... the relevant websites are usually easy to find via Google. It might be too late now, though it can't hurt to try.
