usernamenumber- Gave a short concert for and then hung out talking with the folks who live at my grandma's retirement home (which is an actual house, with about 7 seniors, two caregivers and a kid-- a really wonderful environment). It was a lovely experience!
- Had dinner with the family and met my new niece for the first time. She is small and squishy and loud, and fascinated by one wall of her house in particular, which she stares at constantly. Still getting used to this.
- Went to a party hosted by the guy who ran one of the last big BBSes in the SF bay area, and had a great time talking to a bunch of old friends whom I hadn't seen in about a decade.
- Went to DaveB's 30th birthday party, which was done as an old-school sleepover. Played NES games (on an actual NES), made banana splits, and watched The Room (zomg everything you've heard about it is true, and then some).
- Decided that I am too old to sleep on the floor, and am now back at home, happy to have a real bed.
