CA People: Get-together date?

My folks have offered the use of the house to have people over while I'm in town for slyviolet and wyldelf's wedding. The only issue is that I'm only there from late Fri 4/2 to early Fri 4/9. So the only weekend date that isn't the wedding is the day after the wedding. Would doing something on Sunday, 4/4 be fun and non-tacky, or would something on a weeknight be better? Also, if anyone has a place closer to where most of y'all live nowadays (I'm thinking this is the Mountain View area?) they'd care to volunteer, that would at least give us the option of doing something that didn't require people to drive all the way out to The Creek.

I'm currently in the process of trying to work out a rehearsal schedule for a show I may or may not be performing in (depending on whether or not we can work out a rehearsal schedule), so I will get back to you in a couple days when I know what my schedule is like. Definitely in favor of hangouts, though.

Might I suggest that you utilize Google Wave to plan your trip. All of our Bay Area schedulings are now done in Wave and the format works extremely well for planning, polls for good/bad days and meetup-times.

We all have lots of invites if you are so lacking.
