Wooo! Vegan cafe opening tomorrow between Davis and Porter!!! It's where the Thai place used to be between Subway and The Cursed Restaurant. May check them out today if I can find the time. Food mob? I'm possibly free tonight, and so far free Friday night.


edit: menu available here. They're a tad more expensive than I'd like, but their Incan salad looks like it was designed specifically for me. NOM! Plus at some point I may have to try "Jamaican Jerk Tempeh", just to say that I have. Plus, they have some kinda of tea I actually don't recognize, many of which have words like "chocolate" and "cocoa" in the name. This is promising. :)


edit again: There were plans afoot to get a bunch of 1897 players together to hit The Garment District on Saturday. What about interested parties meeting at Pulse for lunch, then going to GD, and then I'm still considering going downtown afterward to catch Title of Show if anyone is interested in continuing the adventure.

Three words for this new development: Oh hells yes. And they have a vegan reuben! I haven't had a good reuben since I came to Boston.

I am morbidly curious, though, as to what "The Cursed Restaurant" might be.

It's the storefront next door, where for some reason no restaurant has managed to stay open for more than a year or two. Just in the time I've lived here it's been O'Naturals, a Bolloco and "The Green Tomato". It's currently still vacant, afaik.


...though, yes, a themed restaurant with that name would be kind of awesome.
