I think you need to lose the final '/' in the URL.

I want to know where the representative of the Roman Catholic church gets off calling his side "the little guy." Memo to the Roman Catholic church: you are the second-largest religious denomination in the world, and probably the wealthiest. There is nothing "little" about you.

Seriously. The audacity of that quote had me fuming. Forget the Catholic church (or the Mormon church for that matter), the status quo isn't the "little guy" either.

That's my feeling too. I was driving in this morning when I heard the news, and thought: "Crap, we lost Maine!".

This is exactly why you don't put the rights of a minority in the hands of the electorate. This shouldn't have gone to referendum in the first place.

Well, if I ever regretted my decision to leave, I wouldn't be so much after this. Not that I really was, anyway.

Honestly, I didn't have as much faith in Maine as some - I came from a working class town there, and really, people there can be ridiculous in their small-mindedness. Portland area is where all the liberals are, a lot of the smaller towns are kind of the Northern equivalent of southern hicks.

Also, that article was kind of infuriating.

Also, I feel the need to point out that much of Southern Maine is liberal, and my hometown (Saco) voted against it overall.

I voted against it!

...just saying.
