"My First and Only Drug Trip"

Several months ago I got the opportunity to take part in a fundraiser variety show for the Unreliable Narrator group (of "2010: Our Hideous Future" fame), where I got my first shot at doing on-stage storytelling.

Kickstarter for a nifty looking indie comic

A friend of mine is trying to raise money on Kickstarter to start publishing an indie comic. It's a steampunk seafaring adventure that, from what I've seen, the kind of over-the-top badassery I tend to enjoy in that sort of story, and a retro art style I really dig. They're going for $1500, which seems like a lot, but then I know bugger all about publishing comics, and the beauty of Kickstarter is that one loses nothing by pledging if they don't get there. So I've made a pledge and am now spreading the word. Take a look at the video and if you like what you see, give their kickstarter page a visit.
