Two people embrace on the side of the road, and as cars rush by I reflect on the driver's perspective, seeing strangers in passing. A moment of enormity, perhaps, but viewed from another universe. For a time, each is a player on the other's stage as cosmoses touch before diverging again. In those times, the implications of these other universes' existences, outside of one's own but as expansive and ineffable, become for a moment inescapable. And if one ventures further to multiply that by the people in the world... it is at times like this that I wonder how people ever bring themselves to end one another. How much better would the world be if we only stopped to consider the universes we pass on the side of the road?
Not that I was itching to see the second Transformers movie, but now I no longer need to because of this.
I and at least one other housemate will be doing the first big wave of moving stuff to our new house in Belmont on Sunday, 7/5. If anyone is available and willing to come help out in the afternoon, it would be greatly appreciated. Pizza or somesuch can be provided.

Any takers?
Have been looking at the new Palm Pre. One of my biggest concerns would be over leaving AT&T, from whom I've gotten some very good service, for Nextel, about whom I know nothing. Are any of you using them?
