RPI and WPI Larp Weekends
Sep. 22nd, 2009 01:34 pmHeya New England LARPers,
This November, WPI (Worcester, MA) and RPI (Troy, NY) will both be hosting LARP weekends similar to Brandeis' annual Festival of the LARPs (think "mini-intercon", if you've never been to Festival).
The WPI event will be the weekend of November 13th, and you can sign up for it here.
The RPI event will be the weekend of November 20th, and you can sign up for it here.
Sadly, I can't make the WPI event on account of the Threads of Damocles season finale (yes, the only reason I'm not going to Worcester to larp that weekend is because I'm already committed to going to Maryland to larp that weekend-- I think I need help), but having played at WPI before I can say that there are a lot of fun folks out there, and its always fun to mix up the player pools, so if you're in New England and free that weekend, give it a go. There's no game list up yet, but there should be in the next few days.
The RPI event, which it looks like I will actually be able to make, already has a tasty list of games up, and will be starting signups at midnight Sunday morning, but both events look like they have lots of room for more games. If you're an author or GM looking for a place to run something, I'm sure they would love to hear from you!
Crash space may be arrangeable. Ping one of the contact people listed on the main page for more info.
