Does anyone know anything about Spin Jam, the firespinning thing apparently happening at Cambridge Commons today? Specifically the exact time and whether they'd welcome drummers accompanying them? Edit found details here. Emailed the person in charge to ask. Will see. Apparently it's a weekly thing, for those of you interested in getting unhealthily close to things that are on fire.

Also: another night of 11ish hours of sleep. Apparently I haven't been getting enough lately. Whaddayaknow.

I have two friends at work who keep trying to get me to go so that I will become a better contact juggler. But I am shy, and so far, I keep going to contra instead.

Well, apparently it's every Monday. The guy who runs it got back to me and said that most of the spinners prefer ipod music, but that there tends to at least be a contingent that would like to have a drummer, and that I'd be welcome if I kept off to a side with those who wanted accompaniment. In other words, I plan on going one of these days, and would be happy to accompany you if that would help. =:)
