Seriously, what the hell, brain?
Aug. 7th, 2009 04:28 amAfter two weeks of being up stupid-late dealing with workstuffs and never getting enough sleep, I finally crashed at 10:45 last night, which is good since I have to get up at 7:30 this morning.
Not 5 hours later, out of nowhere, my brain starts throwing dreams about me exploring caves, becoming trapped, and slowly starving to death. Repeatedly. Seriously, I wake up, go "crap, that was intense", close my eyes... and immediately, even before I'm fully asleep, start having another dream that's a variation on the theme. In one of them, I am found by some men... who turn out to be with The Taliban and use me, helpless, for target practice. ...What the hell?
In other news, apparently the notion of being trapped under ground, unable to move and slowly starving to death, freaks me right out.
I'm all twitchy now, full of nervous energy. Probably adrenaline. That, and/or my brain just hates the notion of me getting a good night's sleep. Argh, so @#@#$ing frustrating. =:(
Let's see if this diversion has distracted me enough...
