Moving progress!

Thanks a huge, heaping TON to smacaski, bkdelong, ultimatepsi, natbudin, juldea, and friends of lediva's and Kevin's, whose LJ names I don't know (if I am forgetting someone else, please forgive me and chalk it up to being zomgexhaustedandfrazzledbbqbrain). Thanks to y'all, all the too-big-for-cars furniture and whatnot has been moved to the new place, which made a huge difference. I started working around 10am (by which time, BK, smacaski and lediva had already started, and finally dropped off the truck around midnight. The house still has a lot of stuff left to clean out, but I cannot imagine what it would have been like without all that help. You folks are wonderful. Our friends who couldn't make it are also wonderful, but these ones are slightly moreso for the time being. =;)

Can't wait to have the new place in a state to have people over for a housewarming. As those who have been there so far can attest, it is a really nice house!

How did you guys handle the large furniture? I was thinking of renting a pickup from Zipcar.

Also- is Kevin the one I should be pinging about keys?

I currently have the remaining keys in my back pocket, though I should probably put them elsewhere. =;) When are you around this evening? I'm currently at True Grounds and will be making another run from the Somerville place this evening if you expect to be around.

As for moving equipment, we rented a 15ft truck from Penske, which came out to about $110.
