Also, just a note: If you are not registered to vote or have moved and not yet re-registered, the MA deadline is Wednesday, October 15th (10/20 for CA). Sites like Rock The Vote and Vote for Change make it easy if you need to. Sadly, VfC couldn't seem to find me, so I guess I need to go to the RMV ("DMV" to you on the other coast). *sigh*.

Also also: informal debate watching with probable subsequent Rock Band at my place tonight, though I'll be at Sequoia's housewarming for at least part of it.

Thanks for posting that link. I sent in my registration MONTHS ago and never received any information about polling places, etc. I just checked and it looks like I'm NOT registered.

It would have reeeeeeally sucked if I hadn't been able to vote.

I think the VFC site might be having trouble with the voter registration verification. It said it couldn't find me, either, but I show up just fine on on my county's voter registration page.

actually on VtC, if you send in the form they have you print out (and you're already registered), your county will just send you a "you're already registered notification". That's what happened to me. I didn't think I was registered because I had moved from IL. But evidently I am because I switched my Driver's License.

But I do think that site is having problems finding people.

They call it a DMV in Connecticut too. It's just that we live in a Commonwealth here, see, not a State, per se. So they have to do things different. Difficult sometimes.
