Hey, east coast types,

DaveB, one of my bestest friends from high school and an all around dandy fellow, is going to be out here visiting next week (Mon-Thurs) and I'm trying to think of stuff to do. Anything interesting is worth suggesting, but music-oriented things are good. Social is good. Maybe mob a karaoke place? Preferably something cheaper than do-re-mi, though if there's interest I could be talked into it.

Help me out here flist. Anyone know of or interested in devising something interesting going on next week?

Take him to Blue Man Group!! If you don't want to pay for tickets, volunteer to usher as a group! It's very fun, and you get to see the show for free for just an hour or so of picking up paper and telling people where to sit. 617-931-2787. You call them and say, "Myself and 4 friends (or whoever) would like to sign up to usher on X night".
