Hey, Boston friendly-type people!

Jason Webley, one of my all-time favorite live performers, will be playing at the SMFA in Boston this Sunday!

Most of his music can be heard at his website if you want a taste. Train Tracks and Back to the Garden are good examples IMO.

He has some mighty mutton chops. And, much like what you describe of the Wembley experience, there's a perverse joy in seeing a man walk on stage armed with only an accordian and a pedal-mounted tambourine.

Well, he plays the west coast more often than the east so he will be in your area sooner or later. At his website you can sign up for regional show updates by entering your area code.

His shows really are a ton of fun. He started out as a street performer and really knows how to work a crowd, so do check him out if you get the chance.
