usernamenumberWhen I first saw Sylvia's Mini Maker Show, I emailed my mom about it to tell her it made me think of her, because it's exactly the kind of show I could imagine her doing as a kid, or helping me do when I was a kid, had the technology existed at the time.

And we had others that demonstrated the properties of hot/cold and momentum and several that used simple machines. Do you remember the pulley experiment in which we tried to raise a child who was sitting on a swing seat? I think it took something like 16 kids to raise one kid using a single pulley, 10 kids to raise the child with 2 pulleys, 5 kids using 3 pulleys, and only one small little girl to raise one bigger little boy using 4 pulleys. I loved that one.
