There's a movie with Tim Robbins in it based on that premise. A combination of genetic engineering, cloning, and virology advances allow people to inject viruses that enhance trust or memory or bravery for a short period of time. But because people are more or less amalgamations of special-ordered chromosomes and accidental incest is a serious concern, who can have sex with who is strictly controlled.
I keep wanting to say the name of the movie is 'Rule 34', but I know that's not right. It's something like that, something that sounds like a section of a law, the law in question being the one that prohibits sex with the wrong people.
In any case, Holly and I have our reservations in place!
