In response to the my recent post about the best bands people discovered in 2k9 on the webley forum, somebody linked me to Pamplamoose. Apparently they are a Thing, but I'd never heard of them. In any case, they are making me happy today for reasons including but not limited to:

- Their videos are fatastically well-produced
- It is all DIY, down to a home-recording setup the quality of which I am wanty like a seriously wanty thing over
- The guy who plays most of the instruments, and also seems to be the producer, gets totally into it, esp when playing percussion instruments.

The link above goes to their youtube chan, which currently features the song "Always in Season", which is my fave video so far, but does not currently support embedding.

Here, however, is them covering "Single Ladies". My favorite part is the verse she refuses to sing. :)
