Power Point Karaoke update

After an evening fueled by listening to the complete works of The Lonely Island, too little sleep, and an amount of giggling wholly unbecoming of our ages, lediva and I have created eleven slide decks for Power Point Karaoke. At this point, we can confidently say that there will be at least two people in the room highly amused by our work.

Support local indie theater: 28 Seeds Kickstarter

Walter Sickert and the Army of Broken Toys is one of the best live bands I've ever seen. Their presentation is part band, part carnival side show, raucous and strange.

They want to collaborate with a local theater group to create a show they're describing as "apocalyptic, sci-fi, steampunk... HP Lovecraft meets rock music and 1000 channels of cable TV".

I would like to see this.

The project is ambitious, with an equally ambitious 12k goal on kickstarter, and with just 3 days left to go they are so very. very. close (about 9.8k at the time of this writing). But they're not close enough to make it without a big boost of new supporters, so I'm trying to spread the word.
