Came across a couple of interesting things this morning that I'd like to signal-boost:

First, wildelven linked to a nice summary or reasons to call BS on the furor over the so-called "mosque at ground-zero". I should caveat this by saying that I haven't fact-checked the author's claims myself, but I don't doubt them, and I agree with the sentiment in any case. Related favorite quote from Twitter recently: "Y'all know there's a McDonalds in Hiroshima, right?".

Second, _dragonwolf_ signal-boosted an anonymous poll on masturbation that twilighttremolo is doing. As the former puts it, "this is one of those things that I think could stand a little more frank, non-judgmental, non-mocking discourse in our culture."
