IMDB has added as a new "feature" user-contributed plot synopses of tv episodes. For reasons that don't need to be gone into, I was looking at info on an old episode of Star Trek, the synopsis of which begins as follows:
"Can you imagine Scotty ever killing a young woman, even if she was a prostitute?"
...wow.
You know how sometimes the Internet lets you take trips into other people's heads, only then you realize that that's somewhere you really, really didn't want to go?
And now I've shared the experience with y'all.
You're welcome.
edit Seriously, I've shared this with people at bcos a couple of times, and I laugh about it in a "wow, that's so wrong!" way, but really the more it sinks in that someone wrote that in all seriousness (I assume), the more it freaks me out.
