Just had to share this (unfortunately, it may be a bit lost on those of you not familiar with both Hyperon and Transmet)...
Recent releases of Red Hat OSes.
---------------------------------
Red Hat 9.0 - Codename: Shrike
Red Hat 10 aka the Fedora Core 1 beta - Codename: Severn
---------------------------------
Ok. Shrike, Severn. Hyperion references (or so one would assume). Very cool.
Oh, but wait, look what just got announced...
---------------------------------
Fedora Core 1 - Codename: Yarrow
---------------------------------
Now, let's analyze:
Shrike
Joseph Severn
Vita Severn
Channon Yarrow
Hyperion/Transmet morph, even as the distribution morphs from being called Red Hat to being called Fedora! Is that not just too cool for words?
=:)
I hadn't even noticed that Severn could also be a Transmet reference until someone else pointed it out. I only hope this is intentional.

EDIT: I got the version #s wrong the first time. Severn was going to be the codename for RH10 but became the beta for Fedora Core 1. Yarrow is the official release of Fedora Core 1, not the devel version of Fedora Core 2, like I'd assumed. Works either way, though.
