had a really good idea on his journal, which unfortunately never caught on.

Load up all your MP3s, sort them randomly and list the first 10. To make things a bit less tedius, you can save as a playlist, open the playlist file in a text editor and then cut+paste.

Cane - Track 04
Bowling Green - Light From a Different Sun
Sheena Ringo - Honnou
Rhonda Larson - Vocalise
Subhumans - Someone is Lying
09-scalerica_de_oro
Carl Orff (1895-1982) - III Cour D'Amours - Stetit pue
Michael Nyman - Little Impulse
Hooverphonic - Revolver
Sheena Ringo - Tsumi to batsu

Most of the classical stuff wouldn't actually be in a random playlist, but you get the idea. Kind of wierd that Sheena Ringo is in there twice -- there's over 800 songs in the whole playlist. =:)

DaVinci's Notebook - Fishsticks

Who had this idea? Ah. the-kraken. God love Page Source.

This is my playlist game that I play. I used to limit it to words that generated cd sized lists, but now that I have the iPod that seems silly. Car, Boy, and Hat are on Smart Update and shift around everytime I add a bunch of new music. It's like having a favorite album that grows when you're not looking.

I've actually seen this in a lot of my friends' journals. I, unfortunately, can't do it because:

1. I use iTunes, which randomizes by way of just playing random songs, but doesn't actually give you a list. Which means I could just hit shuffle, and keep track (I tend to keep it on random anyway), but...

2. There's something wrong with the hard drive I keep my mp3s on, and it crashes my machine roughly halfway through a song. I'm working on fixing it, but I first need to find another hard drive to put the 80 gigs of music on. Sigh.

It is indeed Sir Ian.

As Maggie Smith.

If you didn't see him hosting SNL, you must find it- his imitation of Dame Maggie is BRILL. And Kylie Minogue was the musical guest, and you can see him dancing to her music, and it is just PRECIOUS. He is so Fuh-LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMING! I LOVE THAT MAN!
