I started listening to the KNX Drama Hour when I was 9 and loved every minute of it. For a while in high shcool my large existential "I'm growing older and the world will all end and it's meaningless andIshoudlreallydotonsofdrugsandtravelaroundtheworldinaspaceshipbecuasespaceshipsarecool" crisis arose from listening to the 2 am rather than 9 pm Drama Hour. I was easy to sway.
PErsonal favorite was the X Minus One presentation of the odl Bradbury(?) story, The Nursery. I was so thrilled when I realized that I had read some of the stories these old shows were based on.
