Gah!!!

Alarm is set to wake me at 5am. The plan is to rise, load the car, eat and drive to a community center in MacUngie, PA where I have arranged to rent a conference room with net access (cost: $30. Rock.). Here, thanks to the technical niftiness that is Red Hat's virtual training, I will spend the afternoon teaching students from a bunch of other places.

From thence I will head to Kempton, PA to npc for Threads of Damocles all weekend. Big apologies and much sadness re the parties and other events I will miss on account of this (why did so many cool people decide to do cool things this particular weekend??) but this has been planned for a while now and I'm quite looking forward to it.

Aaaanyway, the point of this post? To whine about my FRIGGIN INSOMNIA. I haven't had trouble sleeping for a long time, so why oh why does my brain decide it doesn't want to shut off tonight?? =:(

You know, in the interest of market research and the furtherment of science I think you should give us more details about the 'Head with Hammer' plan.

1) Did it work?
2) Did it make you, as the consumer, feel satisfied? Would you try it again?
3) What brand hammer did you use?

Why? Because the previous weekend was the Flea and the following weekends all have weddings.
